A Trip to Switzerland of Asia: Sudhan Gali 2019

Sudhan Gali, which is called Switzerland of Asia is a village located in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir. It lies on the main road that connects the district Bagh to Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir and also connects the town of Chikkar with Bagh city. It is located at an altitude of 7000 feet.

Ganga Peak‎ is one of the hieghest peaks of this area. Which is near the town of Bani Minhasa. It is located in Pir Panjal Range, at the elevation of 3,044 metres (9,987 ft)۔

I visited this place in Monsoon (14th July, 2019) the trip was amazing, we took a 4 wheel ride.

Dirving Directions

To visit this place which is 221 km from Islamabad, the Capital of Pakistan. You can take local transport or you can hire a car, there are many options available in Rawalpindi. Once you reach Bagh which is at an altitutde of 1100 m. Now, you can then take route towards Sudhan Gali which is just 21 km at an altitude of 2500m. Roads are nice and wide.
